About the Job:
We are currently seeking Kitchen Stewards/Porters to become part of our welcoming team. In this position, you will assist the kitchen staff in handling kitchen waste disposal and performing thorough cleaning in the kitchen and dishwashing areas. Your duties will involve upholding high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, completing cleaning tasks assigned by the kitchen manager such as sweeping, mopping floors, and operating dishwashing equipment.
The ideal candidate should:
- Work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
- Possess strong communication skills
- Follow company COSHH regulations and ISO standards consistently
Your Profile:
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward/Porter is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided
Working Hours:
You will be contracted to work 150 hours every 4 weeks on a flexible arrangement, following straight shifts. Your schedule will encompass evenings, weekends, public/bank holidays, and potentially during festive periods like Christmas and New Year on a rotational basis, with enhanced pay for Sunday hours.
