Job Overview:

Core Duties

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs
  • Provide training to employees on safety protocols and procedures
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
  • Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans
  • Stay uptodate with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
  • Prepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management
  • Risk assessment
  • To advise and assist the Director, to meet and interpret their duties and obligations under applicable Health & Safety Acts, regulations and industry technical guidance.
  • To assist in achieving a safe working and caring environment, and to prevent harm from occurring while promoting a positive health and safety culture as a core value.

Key Skills

  • Excellent report writing
  • First aid certification is preferred
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Own transport essential.
