This will be a predominantly a showroom based role, however as and when will be required to travel to trade shows.

These peak times will require more hours but notice will be given well in advance of shows.

Description of Role_

  • Maintenance and upkeep of main Derrys showrooms (2 showrooms covering approx. 20,000 sqft )
  • Refreshing/Update of showroom (We have an extensive inhouse joinery shop / and upholstery teams to help)
However on smaller jobs (painting etc you will be expected to help out )

  • Room design and setting out/placement of furniture / giftware collections
  • Photograph prep for marketing material of new products
  • Trade stand design / layout and implementation
  • Estimating project material requirements and costs, and presentation of designs for customer approval.
  • Working to set budgets
  • Merchandising and displaying products in a creative and eyecatching manner
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Sales as and when required

Experience_

  • 35 year experience in the field strong industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of wallpapers / colours
  • Strong time management to meet deadlines
  • Able to cope with multitasking a variety of projects
  • Full Driving license
  • Client & project portfolio necessary


With this role there may be an opportunity to move to a full time role with the additional sales or marketing aspect within it.
