As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Duties:

  • Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Checkin and checkout clients, ensuring accurate documentation of client information
  • Collect payments
  • Assist veterinary surgeon with various tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
  • Handle client concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animalrelated field is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary practice management software, training will be given.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
£8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 15 per week
