Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's diary
- Handle telephone enquiries and provide accurate information to clients
- Assist with client registration and update pet records in the system
- Process payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
- Liaise with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication, must be engaging and, importantly, also a good listener
- Effective organisation and time management
- IT literacy
- The ability to remain calm and relay accurate information, even when under pressure
- Resourcefulness, initiative, and a willingness to look for solutions to problems
Desirable:
- Customer care experience
- Experience in working in a veterinary practice
