We are looking for a proactive, organised, experienced administrator to provide support around meetings, events, budgets and other support activities within the department for Communications and Engagement.
Working within a world renown Education and Research institute the role will be varied and interesting. Experience working in HE or other multifaceted organisations would be an advantage.The role will be helping to deliver an annual plan of activities including:
- Event support including logistics, catering, on day support.
- Managing inboxes preparing responses, liaising with colleagues to co-ordinate actions.
- Plan and book activities eg travel, speakers, accommodation.
- Manage, monitor and track budgets.
- Attending meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions
- Provide administrative support to the delivery of all activities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders including colleagues and students.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills able to juggle priorities whilst maintaining a high service level.
- Previous experience assisting with organising meeting or events.
- Experience of helping others understand and work with procedures and processes effectively.
- Good experience contributing to and working with a team.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and use their initiative
- Experience co-ordinating papers for meetings and supporting meetings including minuting.
- Proven experience of working with budgets of financial information.
- Good confident MS office skills.
