Your main responsibilities will be

:

  • Supporting clients within their own homes
  • Ensuring clients are actively involved in activities within their own home.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and their families
  • To offer choice and control in all areas of the client's life
  • Meeting the individual's daily needs and requirements in a kind, compassionate and patient manner
  • To assist clients where required which may involve assistance with; continence requirements, personal care, preparing snacks, regenerating meals, fluids and medication assistance.
  • Listening and talking to clients
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all clients
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings.
  • To ensure confidentiality is always maintained, in keeping with the Data Protection Act (DPA ensuring that clients personal details are not disclosed to any unauthorised person and all records are maintained within the DPA 1998 requirements
  • Support and mentor colleagues
  • Partake in on call
  • Cover and or redistribute care calls in emergencies
  • Mentor staff with observations and spot checks
  • Attend meetings with management and fellow seniors.

    £11.40 weekday.
    £12.00ph at weekend.
    45p per mile and travel time paid at £9.50ph.
