Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Team Leader on behalf of their client based in Bromley.

Summary of the Role


You will be responsible for managing a high level of administrative support services for the clients customers, from initial contact through to the end of contract terms.

You will also support the customer services manager in developing a team of 6-12 assistants/recordkeepers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise with day to day duties of assistants and record keepers
  • Review, monitor and maintain quality controls of the workload, providing feedback
  • Identify and provide training to the team
  • Assess performance and behavioural competencies of team members
  • Review objectives and create training and development plans
  • Review the teams processes, ensuring everything is uptodate and fit for purpose
  • Complete Administrative tasks

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 2 years team leader experience, ideally within a financial services environment
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Experience of planning, monitoring and controlling work
  • Experience of managing, coaching and motivating a team
  • Good organisation skills and time management
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to identify and assess risk in the scanning & document management
  • Manage business practices, processes, changes and risks

Hours, Locatio n and Salary
This role will be full-time based in Bromley. Working days are Monday to Friday and every other Friday will be a non-working day. Hours of work will be 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with a 45 minute lunch break.

Salary is £25,000 to £28,000 DOE.
