WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the homes deliver care to maintain compliance and efficiency in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of the company, and total compliance with the regulations of the Care Quality Commission.

The Services Managerwill have responsibility for managing multi-locations that care is delivered to.

The Services Manager will be dynamic and mobile with a need to spread time amongst leadership responsibilities, competency assessing, care development, monitoring and auditingof the locations and teams, as well as on occasions direct support with the people in receipt of care.

The Services Manager will ensure that there is an effective on-call response to support all locations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Tomanage an allocated location by taking responsibility for ensuring there are clear plans for care, activity and support to ensure that vulnerable people are able to live safe, quality lives.
  • To ensure each person in receipt of care has a current personcentered plan of care
  • To ensure people in care are supported to meet the requirements of their own tenancies
  • To be able to monitor, audit and guide quality levels of document writing so that locations can evidence good standards of report writing
  • To deliver effective leadership to the support teams and serve as a role model
  • To ensure the support workers receive quality supervision, training, and competency assessments in a timely manner
  • To coordinate and deliver regular team meetings
  • To uphold thecompany values and to ensure that Policies and Procedures and being followed by all workers and locations
  • To evidence clear monitoring and assessing of locations and develop action plans where shortfalls are identified
  • To stand accountable for the quality of the locations and teams assigned to you
  • To ensure that the Registered Manager receives all required data within the schedules and deadlines set to ensure that there is evidence compliance and effectiveness
  • To perform investigations as directed by the Registered Manager
  • To lead, (or participateas required), in the care reviews of people living in the locations. To produce and maintain quality records in support of reviews.
  • To establish a good standard of communication and relationship with external stakeholders (including professionals and families of people in care).
  • To participate in the assessing of new referrals
  • To perform oncall cover to ensure the homes can operate support to its locations and teams 24 hours a day.
  • To undertake any other relevant tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Registered Manager or Operations Team that contributes to the safe and effective continuity
