Role Overview:

The Lead AI Researcher will oversee the research and development of AI attack vectors and corresponding mitigation strategies for VE3.

This role involves leading a team of data scientists and engineers, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of AI attack vectors, including prompt injection, data poisoning, and adversarial fine-tuning.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI safety.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to defend against identified attacks.
Oversee the testing and validation of AI models and safeguards.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings.
Mentor and guide junior researchers and data scientists.

Qualifications:
Ph.
D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in AI research and development.
Proven track record of published research in AI safety.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data science.
Experience with AI security testing and red-teaming.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Skills and Competencies:
Deep knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Additional Requirements:
Commitment to staying current with the latest research and developments in AI safety.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to participate in conferences, workshops, and continuous learning opportunities.
