Pastoral and Behaviour Worker

Here at Veritas Education I am currently looking to recruit a number of Pastoral Behaviour support workers on behalf of my partner school based in the Wakefield area.

These roles are starting as soon as possible on a full-time basis supporting young pupilsthat are have a wide variety of special educational needs.

You will be supporting young learners that can pose a challenging behaviour where you will need to be on task proactively to make sure pupils are de-escalated and back to learning as much as possible.


Requirements:

  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • The ability to calm situations down effectively
  • An understanding of working with SEMH/Autism
  • Resilience and open mindset to working with varying needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (this can be applied for through Veritas)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview
Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.

We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
