You will be directly responsible for the day to day and long term care of a variety of animal species.

presenting talks, providing animal encounters and regular interaction with our visitors is an essential part of this role.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3 years of experience of working in an animal related environment.
  • A broad range of experience of animal husbandry including reptiles, Birds, primates.
  • An ability to demonstrate sound husbandry practices to deliver a high level of care
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Maintenance and enclosure refurbishment skills
  • Initiative to continually strive towards improving the Park
  • DMZAA or equivalent qualification
Full time 40hrs per week

28 paid days holiday per year

Salary £22,880
