Full-time position available on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
- Undertake various Landlord and Tenant professional and estate management tasks to maximize property value.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on estates-related matters and support them in achieving service objectives.
- Ensure accurate processing of details by the asset team for proper record-keeping and rent billing.
- Monitor debt levels on assigned portfolios and collaborate with the Head of Service on enforcement actions.
- Handle leases, licenses, and agreements from start to finish.
- Conduct property inspections to uphold obligations and plan necessary actions.
- Address land management disputes and unauthorized structures, collaborating with other teams for solutions.
- Ensure property compliance and necessary remedial works, maintaining good communication with tenants.
- Support valuation programs, transactions, and governance processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably a member of a professional body such as RICS, ARIC, or working towards accreditation.
- Degree in a property-related field.
- Several years of estates management experience, particularly in commercial properties.
- Extensive knowledge in rent reviews, lease renewals, and negotiation processes.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in property databases and Microsoft Office.
