Who we are Established in 2011 Community Court Yard is a not for profit social enterprise that seeks to create a better world, through the delivery of youth and community work which at its' core is based around grassroots community engagement. Working with young people in the communities that they are a part of.

What we do Our work is rooted in challenging the narrative, in order to change the composition of the community by creating connections. Working relationally, bringing people together to create social change.

How we do it Based at our youth hub, The Yard. Our work uses a practical, hands on approach. With a focus on social education, it builds capacity by reconnecting people into their communities and utilises collective solutions which unlock potential and create social change for the individual and the wider community.

Thanks to the National Lottery players, we have been awarded funding through the Community Fund.

This has enabled build on the work that we deliver at:
The Yard.


The Yard is a youth led community space, which mobilises intergenerational inclusive networks of co-operation to create new structures for communities to co-create and co-produce.

It is a collaborative space that allows young people to plant their own ideas, where they are nurtured into actions, which are then cultivated into youth led projects, one's that will flourish and produce a transformation of individuals and the communities which they are part of.

We are looking for a conversation starter to work with young people.


To design, develop and deliver creative and engaging youth and community projects for personal and social development in partnership with young people and adults, which motivate, inspire, guide, empowers and enables.

To build relationships with communities and stakeholders to support the work of the youth and community projects.
To ensure safeguarding procedures and standards are adhered to and maintained.
To attend team meetings and support volunteers to engage in these.
To keep project administration up to date.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Part-time hours: 15 per week

Salary:
From £22,491.00 per year
