Senior Therapy Assistant

An opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant within the Children's Therapy Services Team.

This position will require the successful applicant to be flexible in working alongside the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with children and young people who have additional needs, supporting them in accessing all activities, including education.

The team base is at the Gem Centre, but the role involves working in a wide variety of places including clinical areas, schools and own homes.

The post holder must have a desire to continue to develop therapy services alongside the team, integrating therapy goals within other settings.

This will require someone with a vision and passion for working with children and young people and someone who is willing to develop as the service continues to adopt newer innovative approaches.

The post holder will be delivering high quality rehabilitation via group work and individual sessions. This role involves using specialist equipment and undertaking hydrotherapy. Full training will be given to support this.


This is a truly varied and fulfilling role offering an opportunity to be to be part of a valued team supporting babies, children and young people in Wolverhampton.
