Ultra Low Latency C++ Developer

We are working with one of the leading global quantitative trading firms. They are looking to add an exceptional engineer to the team that is responsible for building all of their systems / network for their market-making activities and covers all of their proprietary technology. The team take trading ideas from their Quant Research team and turn them into reality using the most appropriate technology. The team is responsible for everything from interpreting arriving market data to dispatching our orders. This unusually wide scope gives them the ability to make cross-domain optimisations unavailable to their competitors, where the same work is often spread across multiple teams.

They pride themselves as a tech first company and for that reason, don't need candidates with finance experience. They need strong engineers who have an instinct for low-level engineering (C/C++). The right candidate will be pushing CPU's and GPU's to their limits and will have lots of low-level concepts in their work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong development experience with Modern C++, Python knowledge is beneficial
  • Lots of experience with low-level concepts, for example, x86, compilers, operating systems, Assembler, Verilog, ASICs, Linux Kernel
  • Practical experience designing and implementing software systems is a plus.
