As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with inquiries and help them make informed purchase decisions by providing accurate information about our products.
  • Answer questions regarding product features, pricing, and availability.
  • Guide customers through the purchase procedures and ensure a smooth transaction process.
  • Verify product quality and condition by hand to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with other retail staff members to create a cohesive and welcoming shopping environment.
  • Regularly update and arrange product displays to attract customer attention and promote sales.
  • Prepare sales reports and update inventory records on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and organizing the store.
  • Uphold all safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Cultivate a positive and friendly attitude towards customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, accurately noting down important information.
  • Actively engage in sales efforts to meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and accuracy in handling customer inquiries.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently, taking initiative when required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to various tasks as assigned.
  • Basic computer skills for sales reporting and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of automotive products is an advantage but not mandatory.
