ROLE (Summary)


We seek a Senior eCommerce Executive | Digital Merchandiser who is passionate about ecommerce, trade, technology, and innovation to join the our Digital trading Team.

This role will be focused on driving onsite strategies to improve the overall customershopping experience via site merchandising, product discovery & content curation.


This role will assist with maximising the commercial performance of the websites through trading optimisation and analytics, delivering a first class, customer-centric user experience.

You will use data driven insights to improve all aspects of the customerjourney funnel. Working with cross functional teams, you will optimise CTR and conversion from key landing pages to purchase.


You will oversee the onsite execution of the commercial plan across all websites and app ensuring all commercial activity goes live in line with the trading plan.

Your focus will be on driving online strategies that will assist with the seamless deliveryof the overall shopping experience across key global markets, delivering against customer expectations and meeting business performance KPIs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have a strong understanding of customer journey best practice to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy. Optimise conversion and purchase funnel metrics from key landing pages and journeys.
  • Produce detailed analysis reports to advise performance of the different trading zones across site, enabling teams to identify how to push and support commercial activity across the different touchpoints and markets.
  • Weave value throughout the onsite experience, identifying and understanding customers pain points, work with Digital teams in translating these into enhancement opportunities and engaging experiences.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure all onsite activation meets commercial, international and brand building objectives.
  • Support the launch of new international websites and manage the ongoing performance and trading of those sites. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, define, and deliver site localisation strategies that provides international customers a nativeshopping experience.
  • Support business goals through effective site presentation, curation, and execution of trading and marketing strategies.
  • Work in synergy with cross functional teams to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our brand presence and community.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in site functionality and product features. Spot new opportunities to disrupt the industry, to lead not follow. These will support the path to conversion (customer journey monitoring, content personalisationand trading zones).
  • Work with developers and editors to ensure the CMS is delivering on digital experiences and meeting business needs.
  • Streamline processes within your given area and functions.

Who are you and what will you offer?


An established ecommerce professional within an online merchandising, trading or digital marketing background, you'll have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of digital best practice to drive improved site performance.

  • You will be a seasoned customerfocused professional who can blend strategic thinking whilst embracing and leading with change, cultivating innovation and has the ability to communicate vision and purpose.
  • Commercially astute, ambitious, and driven.
  • Experience using onsite tools such as Attraqt | Fredhopper, Clerk and Criteo
  • Experience working with web analysts to use analytics insights to inform optimisation opportunities.
  • Demonstrable success within a similar Digital Performance or eCommerce Merchandising role.
