COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Responsible for ensuring the Company's ongoing compliance in all areas of Health & Safety which can include;
- Maintain First Aid supplies and carry out monthly checks, accident reporting and recording and support Company first aiders
- Carry out new staff inductions regarding Health & Safety in the workplace
- Carry out and monitor weekly fire alarm tests on all sites
- Ensure risk assessments, inspections, licences and Company Policies are kept up to date
- Carry out a monthly check of the whole site for any Health & Safety or fire safety issues
- Carry out fire drills and any necessary training
- Carry out weekly & monthly Legionella testing
Responsible for ensuring Company compliance with other relevant legislation
Maintain and develop the Company's policies and procedures
Ensure all Company vehicles remain compliant within relevant legislation, including tax and MOT
Monitor vehicle inspection records, ensuring vehicles are serviced and repaired when necessary.
To be responsible for all staff transport organisation
Report to Senior Management on vehicle maintenance, repair and running costs.
Keep training requirements up to date and plan relevant training sessions for staff
Assisting the office team with answering customer calls and queries
To carry out all reasonable duties as requested by Senior Management as and when required.
May include other duties including relief management duties, which will be dependent on the applicant.
Essential experience and/or qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, computer literate, willingness to learn, good organisational and time management skills.
Desirable experience and/or qualifications:
First Aid qualification, Health & Safety background
