Capital Global Portfolio Development Director

Act as customer-facing business manager for the Capital portfolio, including strategic partnerships, SMB, and channel business. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop a strategy to significantly grow the portfolio and execute it in alignment with various departments.
Drive pipeline and revenue for the Capital portfolio by defining and implementing target sectors and go-to-market strategies, utilizing Siemens Xcelerator, Digital Threads, and solution campaigns to enhance success and surpass annual business targets. Work closely with zone and country PFDs to ensure effective implementation of all tactics.
Understand the sales organization's needs to thrive in the market. Establish yourself as a natural leader within our matrix organization. Provide management reports to executive management, zone, and key country managers, gaining their trust, support, and approval to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
Activities & Responsibilities in the areas below:
- Drive cross-functional team improvement initiatives by setting strategic directions and implementing them to elevate team performance
- Foster trust and motivation at the country and zone management levels to drive investments and execution in the portfolio
- Act as a trusted advisor to Zone and Country Portfolio Development lead by offering guidance on portfolio development activities' planning, execution, and measurement
- Create and maintain a global business plan that aligns with zone and country business and revenue plans, incorporating new global sales initiatives and campaigns
- Consolidate feedback from zones, identify opportunities, and become a trusted advisor who can focus on critical topics to drive the segment effectively
- Execute campaigns within zones/countries, ensure their effectiveness, address any issues, and gather input from country and zone PfDs
- Identify new campaigns for new products, solution domains, or industries
- Analyze portfolio coverage for specific areas and align with segments
- Collaborate with Global Learning and Development and Learning Services to ensure adequate enablement for relevant campaigns
- Monitor KPIs for specific portfolios and provide necessary feedback
- Offer management reporting to executive management, zone, and key country managers, gaining their trust and support to achieve aggressive growth targets
- Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Automotive Software, Information Technology, or relevant business experience
- Experience of 5+ years in the Electrical/Electronic or Embedded software industry
- 3+ years in a zone role with similar responsibilities, ensuring consistency of execution
- Extensive and proven knowledge of Electrical systems and experience in selling, along with technical expertise
- Essential solution knowledge of Siemens Electrical (Capital) solutions or similar products
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of creating compelling documents to drive meaningful conversations
- Leadership skills to build trust and influence in a global matrix organization
- Entrepreneurial mindset to identify and seize opportunities for business growth
- Ability to drive change management effectively in the organization without formal authority
- Capacity to work in a multicultural environment with global teams
- Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time
