The role involves managing substation civil engineering, construction, and contracting activities. You'll be responsible for project requirements, cost estimates, budgets, and ensuring quality delivery.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in project development within the construction industry
  • Civil and structural design expertise
  • Contract negotiation and management
  • Progress monitoring and reporting
  • Dispute resolution and decision communication
  • Team selection and subcontractor management

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of UK Building Market, Standards, and Regulations
  • Experience with major utilities like National Grid and EDF
  • Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) background preferred
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
