About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Snc-Lavalin. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing the substation civil engineering, construction, and contracting activities from tendering to hand-over.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide civil and structural design, check and comment on civil documentation, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Project Management: Monitor, control, and report on project progress, select key personnel and subcontractors, and investigate cost-effective design and construction solutions.
  • Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of client design guidance, standards, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, civil engineering, and construction industry, preferably on large multi-million dollar projects.
  • Education: Bachelor or master's degree in civil engineering or a related field, and membership in a recognized professional institution.
  • Personal Qualities: Resilient, flexible, and a strong achiever with excellent communication and leadership skills.
