About the role:
As the Head of Insights, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts and researchers to uncover and analyze data and trends to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations, to to identify key research questions, design studies, analyze data and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Your expertise in data analysis, market research, and strategic thinking will be critical in guiding the organization towards achieving its goals and objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Building out a brand new team from scratch, providing direction, setting the vision, coaching & mentoring to achieve team goals and deliverables.
- Develop and implement a datadriven insights strategy, aligning with overall business objectives, to drive opportunities, growth and profitability across the organization
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights and recommendations to support their decisionmaking processes.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, influencing strategic direction and decisionmaking.
- Communicate complex data and insights to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Tailoring communications to different audiences and presenting insights in a way that is easily understandable.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors, agencies, and research firms, to leverage their expertise and resources to enhance the organization's insights capabilities.
What we're looking for:
- Have strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis, data visualization, and data modeling. Experience with data analytics software, such as SQL, BigQuery, Python, or Tableau/Looker, is preferred.
- A critical thinker, with the curiosity to be constantly on the lookout for opportunities and the confidence to challenge and push back
- Comfort operating autonomously in ambiguous environments
