With over 20 years experience in the transport industry, they specialise in providing innovative technology solutions that improve the passenger experience and provide operational benefits to fleet and network operators through their systems and strives to connect the two in order to create the complete connected journey.


Fleet solutions include video surveillance to improve passenger & driver safety, vehicle & driver performance monitoring and automatic passenger counting.

Passenger information solutions include the necessary hardware and software for real time information estates, off-vehicle smart ticketing and way-finding.


They are currently looking to expand their service and maintenance operations and have a vacancy for a Team Leader Fleet Service engineer to cover London, managing 4-5 Engineers to install, maintain and repair fleet monitoring telematics and Passenger Information Systems.

Job Purpose


You will have supervisory responsibility for a small team of Field Service Engineers within your area providing them with guidance and technical support.

Developing technical solutions for arising issues and implementing the fix through your team. You will be responsible for carrying out equipment checks and engineer audits. Liaising directly with customers with arising issues and responses.


As part of our Field Service Team, you will also be expected to carry out youre your own reactive repairs, and audits on vehicle technology products.


Your role is to represent the business and maintain the solutions their client have provided to their customers within their busy operational environments.

Quality and efficiencies in your work, and that of your team should be monitored to enhance our solutions and deliver continuous
improvements in our field services.
Main Duties

Ensure all work undertaken by you and your team is according to the quality standards required and instructions that are given:

Carry out routine checks and audits on your team.


Maintain accurate records of all works undertaken and ensure our clients business systems are updated during, and at the end of each shift.

Maintain regular contact with your team and arrange periodic meetings to offer support, training/mentoring during their shift.

Carry out reactive calls, and minor installation works as coordinated by our service centre.

To provide on-site training for your team

Attend customer account meetings when required.

Education, Training and Qualifications

3 years experience in installing and maintaining CCTV and other electronic equipment on public service vehicles.

Previous experience of vehicle telematic and technology installation.

Repair and maintenance is essential.

Trained to Fitas or AVI standards.

Able to work at heights confidently.

Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Disposition and Personality

Must be reliable and responsible in outlook.

Must be accommodating and appreciate the importance of teamwork.
