Structured Cabling Project Manager

My client is looking for a positive and energy driven individual to work within their Operations Department.
My client enjoys delivering customer service excellence when they bring the kind of "WOW" experience to their customers. The Job role involves managing structured cabling projects in Data Centres in the UK and Europe.

Role:

Project Manager Location:
EU based with up to 50-80% travel in

Europe Salary:
£55k+ (Euro Equivalent) (with review after probation period) * Company Laptop, Mobile Phone, Pension, Private Medical.

Holiday Allowance: 21 days + 8 Bank Holidays (29 total) Duties and Responsibilities * Survey, design, specification, and estimation of projects at tender stage.

* Full project ownership from receipt of design through to execution and delivery. * Assist with creating a full Bill of Materials (BOM) based around the client's requirements. * Managing Project documentation to ensure work is correctly tracked. * Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs. * Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential. * Ensuring central work schedule is up to date and on track. * Monitor, control, and manage in-house project operations to meet customer expectations and timelines. * Liaise between departments to ensure the smooth operations delivery. * Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project teams. * Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders. * Arranging equipment delivery to site and ensure it is correctly stock managed and accounted for. * Evaluate current operational performance and provide a strategic plan for future improvements. * Occasional 'hands on' capability when required. Basic Requirement * 5+ years of Data Centre experience. * Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a cabling Solutions * OM3/OM4/OM5/OS1/OS2 Cabling Solutions. * Competent Microsoft Office skills, incl. Excel, Office & Project. * CAD experience preferable. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and be flexible. * Well organised, pro-active and responsible attitude. * A good team member but with the ability to work on un-supervised. * Strong written and verbal communication skills
