An exciting opportunity has arisen at Robert Barclay Academy to provide inspirational pastoral leadership.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Head of Year to help drive the school forward to its next stage of development.

As Head of Year, you will work collaboratively with your tutors, the pastoral team and other middle and senior leaders across the Trust.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our pastoral care and the relationships we develop with students and parents.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for improving the life chances of young people to ensure all students can achieve more than they think possible and become learners in what is an ever-changing world.

This is a very exciting time to join a dynamic teaching team who are committed to the continued progression the school is making.

In March 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be `Good' in all areas. As part of this Ofsted inspection, the parents were effervescent of their praise for the school (Ofsted Parent View).

The Academy is part of Scholars' Education Trust creating a formal link with Sir John Lawes School (OFSTED Outstanding).
