Job Description

As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will work with the Regulatory Reporting Manager across the end to end regulatory reporting process across numerous returns. You will work with the business to understand business trends and their impact on Regulatory Reporting.

You will produce the Group's more complex regulatory reports on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis, covering reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority, Bank of England and other relevant industry/government bodies such as the ONS/FLA.

As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst, we are looking for someone to:

  • Be responsible for the accurate production of the Group's Bank of England statistical reporting on a timely basis
  • Be responsible for the accurate production of the Group's FCA reporting on a timely basis
  • Ensure all key judgements are made visible and are clearly documented for review by Regulatory Reporting Manager
  • Maintain and present up to date documentation of interpretations and judgements and Standard Operating Procedures for the Group's returns
  • Be responsible for accurately entering regulatory returns on to GABRIEL and OSCA
  • Engage with senior Business stakeholders to obtain comfort over values reported in the Regulatory Returns
  • Support with the continuous review and enhancement of existing reporting processes, along with implementation of new reporting requirements into the BAU processes as they fall due
Qualifications

Essential

  • Technical accounting experience and knowledge
  • Experience of Financial Services Regulatory Reporting
  • Ability to interrogate large volumes of data
  • Good understanding of strong control environments over regulatory reporting
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel

Desirable

  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Experience of GABRIEL/OSCA
  • Experience of Product Sales Data and MLAR returns
