Ensures assigned locations, business units, or proposed products and processes are in compliance with various laws and regulations. Develops and enforces compliance policies and procedures. Acts as the primary compliance consultant/resource for assigned location, business units, or products with respect to questions, consulting, and training. Participates in, and ensures compliance in the design and development of policies, procedures, processes and training programs. Analyzes new and pending laws and regulations which directly affect company practices and works with affected areas to ensure appropriate compliance. May be involved in a variety of compliance projects and initiatives regarding information disclosure, legal proceedings, etc. Performs periodic reviews to assess level of regulatory compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of experience in regulatory compliance activities
  • Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies and procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong presentation skills

whether online (card-not-present / eCommerce), over the phone (Mail Order / Telephone Order (MOTO)) or in person (card-present / Face-to-Face).


The Opayo Compliance Coordinator will manage the audit calendar for the Opayo suite of products and engage the appropriate internal teams to ensure compliance is continually met.

Compliance includes PCI-DSS, P2PE, PA-DSS, PCIPIN, 3D-Secure.


The Compliance Coordinator is not required to have extensive technical systems knowledge but should be familiar with the compliance requirements for each audit and understand the use of information and information systems to represent the Technology and Operations Services (TOS) business line, so they may assess potential impacts to TOS processes resulting from new or changing industry or compliance requirements.


As Opayo Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and supervising internal and external audits relating to the Opayo suite of products, ensuring that PCI DSS scope is documented and confirmed at least annually and upon significant change to the in-scope environment(s).
  • Communicating opportunities for riskreduction and notify stakeholders on PCIrelated impacts to controls, people, processes and technologies.
  • Administrative tasks such as setting reminders for meetings, appointments, audits, and other important tasks relating to Opayo compliance.
  • Listening attentively during Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and contributing compliancerelated information to the Change Management process.
  • Being the point of contact for the TOS business line on firstline compliance questions and consulting with other business lines when applicable.
  • Attending all Enterprise PCI Program Management Office (PCI-PMO) meetings:
  • Reviewing industry and/or compliance-related materials in advance of each meeting and soliciting information and input from the Opayo Live Services Team and other areas of the business where required.
  • Researching and providing information to PCI-PMO on potential impacts of proposed changes to PCI requirements that may impact the Opayo suite of products.
  • Ensuring administrative, operational, and technical controls that support PCI compliance are documented, inventoried, tested, kept up to date, known to all affected parties, and evidenced for assessments.
  • Highlighting and escalating concerns impacting the Opayo Cardholder Data Environment(s) (CDE).
  • Discussing status of remediation efforts (and of relevant risk records) with stakeholders.
