SALARY:
£11p/h

We are looking for experienced Children Residential Support Workers required to work with various clients on a temporary basis with children and adolescents with challenging behaviour and emotional and behavioural disorders in the Hexham area.

This role involves working shift patterns and can include sleep in shifts overnight.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 1 years experience supporting and working with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

We are keen to hear from applicants who thrive working in a challenging environment and enjoy engaging andinteracting with service users of all levels.


What we'll need from you:

  • Ability to work within alone and in a team.
  • Ability to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the residents.
  • An understanding of challenging behaviour is preferred.
  • Must have an approachable, proactive, and friendly attitude towards work.
  • Understanding of learning disabilities.
  • 6 months 1 year's experience working with Children or Young People.
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service would be a great advantage.
