We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Worker to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to a young woman with learning disabilities, enabling her to live independently in her own home and engage with her local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour support over 7 days a week to enable the individual to remain living independently.
- Support the individual with continued access to the local community, including various activities and volunteering opportunities.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, understanding, and positive communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driving license and business use insurance.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
