About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Assistant Team Leader in our Preston test centre.

The purpose of the role is to strengthen management structures and to provide much needed support in making us better able to deliver a quality and efficient service.

Reporting to the SELT Centre Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and keeping abreast of the day to day operations within the SELT Centre.

You will be required to ensure a smooth operation of various processes and adherence to Trinity's' policies, procedures as well as regulatory requirements, to maintain the security and integrity of the tests.

The hours for this role are as follows, 8:00am - 8:00pm, 40 hours/week, 5 over 7 days, Monday to Sunday as determined by rota therefore weekend availability will be required.


About you


To be successful in this role, you will have the aptitude to lead and motivate colleagues and ensure they are delivering superb customer service.


  • Support the Team Leader in managing and motivating the Customer Service and Administration Teams to successfully deliver Trinity products and services to the required standard, legal and regulatory, with a consistently excellent level of customer
service.

  • Act as a point of escalation and support for all contact centre and exam centre staff.
  • Take ownership of more complex customer complaints and queries through to conclusion, seeking assistance from Team Leaders where applicable.
  • Use available data to complete staff day planners ensuring calls and tasks are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Assist with the documented training programme to help develop and train both new and existing staff to ensure both individuals and teams meet their full potential.
