Summary


The governors of Clayton Brook Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and highly motivated professional to join our hardworking and caring team.

The successful applicant will have experience of supporting children and their families, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to perform in a multi-faceted role.

This will support excellent outcomes for children and develop meaningful relationships with families. More details are provided in the job description and person specification.
The position is for 25 hours per week, part-time, term time only and is temporary until 31st March 2025. However, there is the potential for the role to be extended for a further 2 years.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

An enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for the appointment of this post. This post is also an essential car user.

You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use.

However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
PLEASE NOTE THE CLOSING DATE IS Wednesday 29th November 2023 at 12 Noon. The salary quoted is full-time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

  • BTEC Diploma Early Years.
  • NVQ Level 3.
GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above.
Desirable Qualifications

EHA/TAF Training.
Essential Experience

  • Experience of working with children and families.
  • Experience of working with multiagency staff.
  • Experience of working as a lead professional
Experience of supporting children on a one to one basis or group activity.
