About the role


Our Healthier Lifestyle team are expanding and we are introducing a new service called Healthsmart where we will run weekly health hubs in Croydon.

Healthsmart Health Hubs will provide exercise, health promotion through talks, signposting and leaflets, health checks & brief intervention.


The aim of the service is to take a preventative and proactive approach to improving the health of older people in Croydon by focussing on modifiable risk factors for disease, falls and frailty.


We are recruiting for a Healthsmart Project Officer who is an enthusiastic team member with a positive attitude and is committed to the wellbeing of older people in our community.


As Healthsmart Project Officer you will be delivering health hub sessions, carrying out basic health checks and providing signposting and information as well as supporting the exercise instructors with delivery of the exercise classes.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.


This role is hybrid with time spent out in the community and the rest of the time to be office based or remote.
