Engineering Coordinator

Addison Engineering provides hands-on engineering life cycle support services to a range of process led industries. We have the capacity to manufacture and fabricate sheet metal, pipework, and steelwork. Our site services also includes installation, maintenance, overhauls, shutdown planning, skid design, manufacturing, and relocations.
**About you**:
- You will hold a HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering (preferrable) and/or experience of working in a similar environment/role.
- You will have the ability to read engineering drawings.
- You will be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, business finance understanding, be able to plan, prioritise and be highly organised.
- You will be proactive in your approach, with the ability to be flexible.
- You will have experience with dealing with clients/customers providing customer service excellence to be able to meet their needs, often requiring rapid responses, and with a high level of communication skills.
- You will have the passion and enthusiasm for learning and have the desire to progress your professional development within this role.
- You will hold a full driving license (preferable)
This is a permanent staff opportunity working Monday - Friday 8-4pm with overtime available.
- To support the office administration function, planning and prioritising on a day to day basis.
- Dealing with customer/client requests in a timely and positive manner, including customer/client visits and deliveries.
- Handling new customer/client enquiries for the business and building a relationship to secure contracts, by developing new customer/client presentations.
- Complete customer/client pre-qualification questionnaires.
- Allocating work to the Engineering team and dealing with any team queries.
- Cost monitoring, making sure the expenditure is coming in within budget.
- Ensuring all timesheets are collated and input in a timely manner.
- Generating sales invoices, approving inbound invoices, and monitoring cost control.
- Request quotes and order materials as and when required, raising purchase orders, and ensuring to budget.
- Adhering to all quality controls and management systems and proving evidence for customer/client audits.
- Ensuring quality check procedures are followed.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
