The role of band 4 Assistant Practitioner is to undertake a range of clinical activities within the Older Peoples Service.

Our Community Mental Health Team covers the West side of Norfolk and we support Older People who are living with a wide range of Mental Health concerns that may or may not include a dementia diagnosis.


You will be supported by our Multi-disciplinary team to develop a strong understanding of your role as an Assistant Practitioner, as well as giving you the independence to provide an effective supportive and professional service with Service Users and carers.


In this role you will enjoy plenty of opportunities to develop your skills through training opportunities and a sound supervision structure.

Our aim is to continually improve service delivery for Services Users and carer experience.

You will be part of an effective and mutually supportive clinical team, with strong support from the management team.

Requirements for this role:

A Care certificate or completed within first 12 weeks of start date, or relevant equivalent qualification.

AND


Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care / Mental Health at Level 5 or Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care / Mental Health Level 5.
