About me


I am a 32 year old woman and have an Acquired Brain Injury from March 2022, this has changed my life and I now need help to manage some of my day to day needs.


I am learning new skills all over again and this is giving me back my independence but I know this will take time so having someone to support with things that overwhelm me would be great.


Hours and rate of pay


I would like a PA that could visit twice a week to support me (Days to be confirmed with the PA).


I would like someone who could come for between 3-5 hrs a week I am flexible with this and could split this as one 2 hrs slot and one 3hr slot.

Right to Work and references will be needed.

Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:

  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Health and Safety

What you would be doing


I independently go to the Gym 2/3 times a week but have no other community connections so I would like someone who could show me how to make these.

Support with official correspondence and bills, hospital/ GP appointments, planning my week, simple cooking ideas.

The person I would like


I would like someone with a open mind set and who does not mind helping with lots of different tasks, I am currently redecorating so if they could paint or support me with this that would be great.


Someone who has experience with brain injuries and understands the struggles I may face like memory loss, being tired, struggling with balance and needing some extra time to think aboue an answer to a question.

I am seeking a PA who is able to read the signs that I may be struggling and support me.
