Senior Quality Engineer required for a leading mechanical manufacturer who boast a fantastic reputation within their sector, a brand truly associated with quality.

They are well established and have huge growth plans in place. They offer training and development and progression opportunities for the successful applicant.

As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will analyze data and metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for quality enhancement.

Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in leading root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to address any quality issues that arise.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and knowledge by providing training, mentoring, coaching, and support to team members on quality-related matters.

It will be expected that you have solid background in engineering, preferably with a mechanical focus.

Operational experience in statistical process control (SPC), advanced quality planning (AQP), and production part approval process (PPAP) is highly desirable.

Knowledge of failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) and ISO standards is also advantageous.

The Senior Quality Engineer

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and specifications.
*Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
*Conduct product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.
*Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to address quality issues.
*Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and support to team members on quality-related matters.
*Participate in the development of new products/services, ensuring quality is integrated from the beginning.
