THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial for Projects, Engineering and Automation and being responsible for delivering best in class contract controls, coupled with P&L performance across the Projects, which has designated multi-disciplinary services. Accountable for the commercial and cost management of a project or programme of the project from inception to close out, ensuring that maximum efficiencies are obtained and full compliance with all B-UK governance procedures is achieved. Will also work closely with Technical, Project Management and Project Controls teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compilation / Submission of Requests for Payment (RFP) on a monthly basis, including dealing with client queriesIssue of Early Warning notifications & co-ordination of responses to client issued EW'sInitial T&C review of purchase orders, contract agreements, LOIInternal Cost & Value / P&L financial reportsTracking of Earned Value & Productivity / Efficiency ratesWork with Planner to cost or resource load programmes Issue of associated Sales Invoices in a timely mannerUpdate of Cost Forecasts vs Agreed Target Cost Pricing of Compensation Event QuotesUpdates of CE & Early Warning RegistersAssisting Commercial Manager with Board Report commercial slidesReview SAP cost postings & highlight anomaliesAuditing Sub-subcontractor valuationsWeekly review of hours in MPower vs project timesheetsCalculation of 'Star Rates' for extra workCheck cost bookings in SAP & journal transfer misallocationsEnsure Contract compliance

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
