Financial Advisor Assistant to join an established Partner practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management based in Brentwood, Essex (CM13 1).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great profession, within a FTSE100 Company, with an excellent team with the potential to develop and build a career within a growing business.
Role overview
The purpose of this role will be to support the Practice Manager and Financial Adviser initially in an administrative capacity.
Once fully up and running with all administrative elements of the role such as business processing, diary management and clientservicing, the role tasks will focus on more direct support to the Financial Adviser.
The role would be suited to anyone wishing to grow and expand their career in Wealth Management whether this be in a senior administrative context, paraplanning or future financial adviser / wealth adviser context.
We are open to all career paths, it ismore about the desire to work in the industry and commitment to the role long term.
The role will involve a long-term structured training program provided through the SJP training systems and also via on the job training.
Initial Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Practice Manager with her workload as directed whilst learning within the practice all aspects of client management, business development and administration including:
- Data processing
- Diary management and booking client meetings
- Assisting Advisers with Marketing campaigns
- Management of the PROMS system
- Management and maintenance of all CRM/IT systems
- Record and update all workflow on Client Relationship Systems o Collating and chasing of ceding scheme information
- Critical Yield calculations
- General Administration
Other Skills:
- Educated to A'Level standard as a minimum
- GCSE grade C/5 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Positive attitude with a hunger to learn and develop in the industry
- Assisting colleagues in times of need when urgent tasks are required to be undertaken and prioritising workload accordingly
- Keeping the office area tidy and presentable at all times
- Shredding of all confidential information
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
- Attendance at internal and external training courses/events where required, which may require some travel
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- The ability to explain complex information simply and clearly
- The ability to network and establish relationships with clients
- High level of computer literacy skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Additional information
- Salary: £2025K depending on experience
- Location: Hutton, Brentwood (CM13 1) primary location. On the odd occasion you will be required to work from the London City location also.
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (please note some out of hours work may be required to fit in with client meetings in the future)
