Our client is an established care provider who delivers quality, professional, person centred services to clients in the community.We are looking for someone with extensive experience of working in a Management/ Supervisor role in a similar domiciliary care service.
The role reports into the Registered Manager where you will be dealing with the engagement of new clients and their families from initial enquiries to the start of care.
You will ensure the customer has the care required, the carers are trained and well-matched to the customer needs and all documentation is in place and the services delivered are effective, safe and appropriate.
This role includes the following key duties:
- Assist Registered Care Manager with onboarding new customers, being able to effectively discuss and assess customer needs and requirements from initial conversation to commencement of care
- Assist with new customer enquiries and follow up on customer leads
- Manage issues through to resolution, document and escalate where appropriate
- Effectively use the digital care management system; including data collection, customer and employee management, rostering and communication
- Use the digital care management system to complete care notes, MAR, report and to keep up to date with Care Plans, Risk Assessments and other details
- Assist with new carers introductions and shadowing training
- Undertake internal audits to improve service quality
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and induction
- Provide short notice care cover in an emergency
- On-Call duties (one in three)
For this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years full experience in a management position within a CQC care setting, with a thorough understanding of compliance procedures, adhering to CQC regulations.
Ideally holding, or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and having your own transport, holding a full driving licence
