About the role

Onward Repairs provide a housing repairs and maintenance services directly to our customers across the Greater Manchester and Lancashire area.

We are now looking to recruit a Stock Performance manager who will be responsible for the management and delivery of stocks across the Onward Repairs fleet of vehicles to enable and support Onward operatives deliver a first class customer service focused on a "right first time" solution.

Suitable candidates will have experience in implementing systems and controls that support the live data and stock management, undertaking live in the field and yearly stock audits providing to improve performance of materials management and usage minimising any impact to the customer through stock down time.

This role will be based from our Accrington office but will involve working across our site and office across the North West.

Responsibilities
Stock Management

Responsible for implementing appropriate systems and controls that support the live delivery of stock management, undertaking live in the field and yearly stock audits.

Provide live performance of materials that monitors van stock usage and performance ensuring risks are monitored and managed effectively in delivering van stock.

Customer Service

Liaise with internal and external customers appropriately to ensure those connected or involved are aware of progress, action taken or required to rectify the identified issues that impact our service.

Act as a point of escalation for the resolution of complaints and other issues.
Data Management & Financial Information (Value for Money)
To ensure van stock value information is accurately maintained and property records updated.

Ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved and implement new streams of business or operational areas to ensure maximum value for money.

Health and Safety

To work closely with the Health and Safety Team to ensure that safe systems of work are in place to mitigate risks and that the requirements of Health and Safety legislation are met.

Internal Partnership Working

To work across the Onward Repairs team with the assignment of work, managing diaries to ensure collaborative working to deliver required service levels regarding van stocks.

Work effectively with other internal service areas to deliver excellent customer service.
Leadership & Line Management

To positively lead teams ensuring the required level of performance is achieved and review this in monthly performance conversations, annual appraisals, and 6-monthly reviews, identifying any training needs.

Participate in learning and development activities that develop personal effectiveness.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge

Essential:
Experience of being part a team in a similar construction, trade-based maintenance materials or fleet-based business.
Proven ability to lead and support colleagues to deliver a quality customer centred materials and fleet supply chain.
Commercial knowledge and understanding of a
construction, trade-based maintenance materials or fleet-based business.
Ability to effectively manage productivity, and van stock/materials supply chain.
Detailed knowledge of either materials supply chain or Fleet management
Experience of delivering customer service.
Experience of partnership working.
Experience of working as part of a team.
IT skills - Microsoft office to Intermediate level

Essential:
~ Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent qualification/ experience.

Desirable:
Relevant qualification / experience relating to materials supply chain
