About The Role


It's an exciting time to join the service which recently restructured and is key to delivering on the corporate objective of good homes in well connected neighbourhoods.

The post holder will be responsible for the five teams (approx. 40 members of staff)who together deliver a targeted service to deliver mixed tenure housing management service to 15,000 tenants and leaseholders - providing a first point of contact and intensive housing management service to our tenants as well as complex case management tovulnerable residents and placemaking strategies to improve conditions on estates such as parking, lighting and reducing crime.

This is an innovative service with an ambition to manage mixed tenure estates through our new developments and regeneration programmesproviding services to homeowners, those in shared housing and those in social housing; we are looking for someone who can lead on this innovative work and has the vision to deliver this exciting plan.

We are looking for someone who is a good leader and communicator,who can set and achieve high standards whist building relationships which deliver with key internal and externally partners.


We will expect you to:

  • Embed the new service structure with input from residents to ensure we are engaging and involving with them, focussing on areas for improvement that are important to them and that staff have the training and support they need to perform. Ensure that relevantKPIs are in place to monitor progress and performance.
  • Develop place management strategies for priority areas.
  • Develop a case management structure to ensure the needs of vulnerable residents are met.
  • Ensure that staff effectively use Civica when mobilised.
  • Improve quality and response times for member enquiries and complaints.
  • Develop a framework for client and contract management of cleaning and caretaking, waste management, grounds maintenance and communal repairs as the client lead for Council Housing
