Catering General Assistant to be a part of our integral team in

What you'll be doing
- Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of positioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
- Food deli preparation such as Grab & Go fruit pots, desserts, sandwiches, filled baguettes and salads.
- Setting up counters and keeping them stocked up and maintained throughout service
- Stocking up and stock rotation
- Cleaning the dining room and back/front of house
- Assist with stores/cleaning rota
- Operating a till and cash handling
- Providing excellent customer service
- Restock Goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
- Clean back of house areas, crockery & cutlery using equipment when trained to do so.
- Clean and tidying working areas
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Undertake relevant training as required
- Although you will be based at Hutchesons secondary, you may be required to work at the primary school on occasion.
Experience
- A DBS check is required for this role
- Experience in contract catering including healthcare and education is preferred
- Good communication skills
- Be able to follow instructions clearly
- Be able to handle difficult situations, such as complaints
- Have excellent time keeping and flexibility.
- A 'Can do' attitude
- Customer focused and passionate about providing the best customer service
- Willingness to support the team and help deliver any additional catering requests.
