Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional catering services to patients, visitors, and various departments within the healthcare facility, while strictly adhering to Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations.
Team Collaboration: As part of a dedicated team, you will work on a rotating schedule of 5 days out of 7, engaging in various shifts to ensure a high-quality service that prioritizes the needs of patients and visitors.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a solid understanding of relevant Policies and Procedures, as well as Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards, which will be overseen by Team Leaders and Chef de Parties.
Certification: An up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate is a requirement for applicants.
Experience: Relevant experience in a busy food service environment is essential, including the preparation of basic food items and the use of industrial cooking and cleaning equipment. This role requires versatility, as you will be expected to work both in the kitchen and on the serving line in the dining area.
Flexible Working: NHS Scotland is open to discussing flexible working arrangements for this position.
