The Role


The Financial Contract Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring a high level of satisfaction (both internal and external) in the service provided to the customer.

They will manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely billing.

This will be achieved by:

  • Understanding the differing products.
  • Keeping abreast of new product development and any new functionality that may assist with contract management.
  • Working with the Account Managers to understand the complexities of external customer contracts and how to manage them effectively.
  • Suggesting NetSuite improvements to support the contract management process.
  • Working with the NetSuite Analyst Team to develop the system to help automate reporting requirements to aid external and internal customers.
  • Communicating with various teams to ensure milestone billing and volume excesses are billed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Owning customer issues through to resolution.

*Please note, this role is on a fixed term contract for 15 months to cover maternity leave.

The Person

Desirable skills:

  • Good IT skills including all MS office products, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to adapt to new IT packages.

KEY DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED

  • Maintain an effective register of nonstandard agreements to ensure milestone and irregular billing profiles are captured to protect the revenue streams.
  • Ensure contracts are uploaded to NetSuite.
  • Update NetSuite Parameters with customer contract information.
  • Ensure changes to contracts are reflected in all billing reports and NetSuite to reduce the risk of incorrect billing and increase the reliability of information for other users.
  • Manage "end of life" contracts. Notify the relevant teams for cancellations, credits, cancel contracts partial or full.
  • Assist in the development of a new process for the various "end of life" Customer requests.
  • Identify any trends on new deals and attrition.
  • Maintain procedures for managing all contract threshold parameters.
  • Review threshold reports monthly for all products against contracted allowances and identify monthly, annual, and cumulative billing.
  • Ensure that systems and processes are followed to ensure effective monitoring of the non standard agreements and the billing is raised at the correct intervals.
  • Liaise with the Managed Service Team, Implementation Team and the Accounts Receivable Specialists to influence and maintain crossteam assistance and cooperation as well as accurate billing.
