Kendal / Manchester / North West/ Remote UK _(While we do provide the option of remote work, this role must have regular face-to-face check-ins with the teams at our primary offices located in Kendal and Manchester.)_


Reporting to the Commercial Director you will work closely with all heads of departments in providing support on all aspects of HR including recruitment, benefits, employee relations and talent management.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent in the digital marketing PR & SEO industry.
  • Partner with Heads of Departments to understand their talent needs and create job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect those needs.

People Administration

  • Independently advising on HR Policies, Procedures & Administration
  • Oversee and support HODs and Line Managers with annual leave signoff and fair usage across the agency
  • Keeping the team up to date on new starters, leavers and any policies.
  • Conduct exit interviews for any leavers.
  • Keep all employee files and records, including contracts up to date.
  • Review and update all perks usage.

New employee onboarding

  • New employee contracts
  • Develop and execute new starter onboarding and induction programs that ensure new hires are set up for success and feel welcomed and supported

Employee Engagement

  • Support all HODs' and Line Managers to conduct thorough performance reviews, and provide feedback and action development plans.
  • Develop and execute training and development programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, and support career growth and progression plans
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
  • Promote a positive agency culture that aligns with our core values and fosters employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Develop and execute employee recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and promote a positive work environment
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in HR, talent management, and company culture, and incorporate those into our strategies and programs.
  • Leading the Social Committee with organising team events, charity events, team building and biannual team gettogethers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or similar qualification in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, talent management or a related field.
  • Experience working in an agency or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisionmaking
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and regulations, including employment law and compliance requirements
  • Ability to lead, influence, and motivate individuals and teams
  • Experience in talent management software, such as HiBob
  • Passion for implementing and promoting a positive company culture and supporting employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
