Mechanical Estimator

This role offers a great opportunity to work as a Mechanical Estimator in a well-established Facilities Management company based in Eastleigh. The company is currently undergoing significant growth, making it an exciting time to join their team at one of their prestigious client sites.


  • Location: Eastleigh
  • Salary: Up to £65,000 plus car allowance and excellent benefits

About the Company:
Join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK, working on truly first-rate facilities. This is a hybrid role based in Eastleigh or Bristol, with a requirement to attend team meetings in Eastleigh.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Conduct accurate mechanical estimates for various projects
  • Prepare and compile proposal submissions, evaluating new project delivery methods
  • Obtain costs from specialist subcontractors
  • Participate in site visits across the UK as part of the bidding process
  • Update Pipeline Reporting System and contribute to management reports
  • Attend Bid Meetings and progress submitted tenders
  • Assist in tender returns formulation
  • Measure performance against contractual requirements
  • Identify cost-saving initiatives in line with contract obligations

The Successful Candidate:
Educated to HNC/HND Standard or equivalent
Ideally have experience in Data Centre projects
Strong management experience
Relevant estimating experience within a Building services contractor
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Full UK Driving Licence
