John Crane is now looking for employ a
Gas Seals Project Coordinator to dynamically project manage Gas Seal Refurbishment projects for each key operational milestone from point of project handover from the commercial team to the shipment of goods.

To ensure all steps are undertaken to meet project target deadlines, customer requests and internal delivery targets.

This role will be supported by the highly technical production team of engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working with the commercial team to ensure swift and clean handover of project, as well as understanding any special requirements if achievable.
  • Understand technical inspection reports to interpret the key components and quantities required to fully refurbish the seal/s.
  • Load components into our SAP system to order on external supplier/internal supplier or in house production teams and push for these to be delivered within project timelines. To track and push these components with various internal teams to ensure project is on track.
  • Prebooking of testing slots within agreed dispatch dates and all associated planning to ensure this date is not jeopardized.
  • Manage all outstanding project queries with engineering teams, operational teams, and customer.
  • Attend all progress meetings (daily/weekly/monthly) communicating status of each order and pushing all other teams for updates you require.
  • Fully communicate with the internal customer throughout the process with updates.
  • Host customers and inspectors on site related to your project.
  • Arrange all paperwork related to the project for customer and shipping teams.
  • Monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Manage dynamic changes in projects and issues with priority.

The
Gas Seals Project Coordinator will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience managing projects and project coordinator, specifically in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Must be technically minded.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure handling multiple projects at a time.
  • Customer focused with strong communication skills.
