We're on an exciting journey here at Volkswagen Financial Services UK ('VWFS') and we're looking for our next Business Insight Manager to join our team of experts. You'll work alongside stakeholders to understand their requirements and equip them with key insight to drive performance based decisions.

This is what your day might look like:

  • Produce the automated performance reporting, standard reporting suite and ensure full end to end and aligned reporting, enabling fast and accurate information production to aid stakeholder decision making.
  • Monitor the performance of our Customer Operations department at advisor, team leader and department level.
  • Support in the timely delivery of data requested by the financial regulator.
  • Produce reporting and insight into key customer metrics within Complaints, Collections, Quality Assurance, New Business and performance metrics of our outsourced partners Contribute to the accurate production of all local and HQ presentations such as Business Financial Review and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Produce reporting and analysis to support local senior management and Headquarter requirements including customer outcome analysis.
  • Effectively utilise a number of analytical tools including but not restricted to data mining, quantitative analysis, cluster analysis, pattern recognition and correlation discovery to deliver high quality insight.
  • Ensure consistency into all relevant reporting and analytical presentations, providing off the shelf answers where appropriate.

This is what you will bring to the role:

  • Experience with the use of BI software packages such as Tableau Prep & Desktop.
  • Understanding and experience of the use of mathematical and statistical tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in implementing technically complex activities, particularly of a reporting or analytical nature.
  • Proven success in sharing complex technical knowledge across multiple senior stakeholder groups.
  • Experience of elements of statistical and financial modelling and performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of balancing work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of tools such as data mining, quantitative analysis, cluster analysis, pattern recognition and correlation discovery.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets producing long term recommendations with lasting results.
  • Proactive and engaging mind; able to analyse complex and unrelated issues and make appropriate and recommendations in response.
  • Ability to deliver at pace and cope under pressure/meet strict deadlines.
