About the Service - Treatment & Recovery Services
Our dedicated treatment and recovery services offer tailored support to help people challenge dependency.

We understand that recovery from dependency is a personal process, and we know that it is possible with the support.


At Changing Lives, we recognise that substance dependency is often something that emerges linked to life experiences and we are here to help people explore, make meaning and decide what changes they would like to make moving forward.

We work with people at every stage of their recovery journey. We offer an effective therapeutic support for people, and on-going support as life progresses.

We also support people to connect within their communities and to other services that can help with other issues arising, including employment, housing, family relationships, mental health and more.


About the Job


We are looking for a professional and committed individual to join a welcoming and passionate team, as the Team Leader.

As part of the leadership team, the Team Leader will operationally lead the Changing Lives element of the Northumberland Recovery Partnership, coordinating recovery focused work.

The role involves working with partners to ensure that people have access to the correct treatment pathway.


The Team Leader will promote recovery from addiction as a realistic goal within the service we provide, plus communicate with the Service Manager and direct the team to achieve the identified outcomes.


The service and team provide holistic drug and alcohol treatment to adults across the Northumberland area, including triage, assessment, care planning, recovery coordination and more.

At times the Team Leader will deputise for the Service Manager. We are looking for an individual who has leadership and line management experience.
